The Mission-Based Podcast Series
In
response to suggestions and requests from participants at my lectures
and training, I've created the Mission-Based Podcast Series. Below, you can
learn more about the podcasts, preview a free sample, and review and
order as many podcasts as you would like.
Podcast Series Overview
The Mission-Based Podcast Series is designed to help you make your
nonprofit organization more mission-capable. Based on the writing and
teaching of Peter Brinckerhoff, the Series can be a valuable tool for
any busy nonprofit manager, volunteer or board member.
All the podcasts are in the very flexible .mp3 format and can be played
on any mp3 player, or through Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, or
MusicMatch. You can listen to them on your computer, burn them to a CD
and listen to them in your car, or put them onto your iPod or other mp3
device.
Each podcast's learning content runs approximately ten minutes, and can be supplemented by a free optional PowerPoint file.
If you have heard Peter Brinckerhoff in person, or have read one or
more of his books, you know the value of his work. The
Mission-Based Podcast Series is another way to access Peter's
groundbreaking ideas on nonprofit management, marketing, finance, staff
management, boards of directors and many other topics.

Supplemental PowerPoint Files
As a supplement to each podcast, Peter has developed an associated
PowerPoint file which is available to you at no additional charge.
These files cover the key points of each podcast and provide links to
additional resources. If you do not have PowerPoint installed on your
computer, you can view the files by downloading and installing the free
PowerPoint viewer.
Equipment Required
There is no special equipment required to
listen to the podcasts. If you use Windows, Windows Media Player will
play the mp3 files. If your computer burns CD's, your purchase allows
you to burn the podcasts to a CD, or to transfer the file to an mp3
player for later listening.

If you wish to view the free supplemental powerpoint files and do not have PowerPoint, simply download and install the free PowerPoint viewer.
Ordering Podcasts
Ordering any or all of the Mission-Based Podcast Series
is easy. Once you decide to purchase, simply go to The Mission-Based Store and click on The Mission-Based Podcast Series.
All payments for Mission-Based materials (publications and podcasts)
are made through PayPal, a secure website. You can pay with a credit card, or through your own PayPal account. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase.. Once payment is
confirmed, your podcasts will be available for downloading. I suggest
creating a new folder on your desktop in which you can place the files.
Don't forget to also download the associated powerpoint files for each
podcast. These are available at no extra charge.
